Cute Kittens Need Home

A good client of Middletown Animal Hospital brought in 3 kittens that she found in her neighborhood in Hidden Valley.  She will try to trap the mother cat and we offered to spay her for free in an effort to cut back on the overpopulation problem.  The kittens are up for adoption in the cat condo located in the cat reception area at Middletown Animal Hospital.  They are 4-5 weeks old and tested negative for felv/fiv.  They were de-wormed and treated for fleas.  2 orange and 1 calico.  Please help us try to find them good homes.

Clients who adopt a kitten from from Middletown Animal Hospital are required to purchase the Kitten Package below.  Because clients pay up front for the total package they always come back to our clinic to make sure that everything in the package is done, including altering.  I'm sure you will agree that we are providing unowned kittens the best possible medical care while encouraging responsible pet ownership.

Vaccinations
(FVCRP,Felv, & Rabies)
Vaccinations are one of the most important
tools in keeping your kitten healthy. Your
kitten’s immune system needs time to mature
& become stronger. Therefore, it is VERY
IMPORTANT that they receive the correct
vaccinations at the correct time!
Kitten’s should receive vaccinations beginning
as early as 6 weeks of age, continuing every
3-4 weeks until 16 weeks of age.
Protecting Your Kitten & Family from
Parasites
Kittens are vulnerable to parasite infestations
that can seriously threaten their health & your
children’s health! Almost all kittens have
parasites because their mother transmits
them through their milk. They can also acquire
parasites from fleas, soil, & mosquitos
(Heartworms!!!!!)
With this package, your new kitten will be
dewormed once with a high-quality parasite killer.
In addition, they will receive the first 3 months of
a flea/heartworm/roundworm/hookworm
preventative.
It is important for all family members to wash
their hands after playing or handling your kitten.
Please don’t kiss them on their mouth & pick up all
feces as soon as possible.
Why spay or neuter your kitten?
There are millions of unwanted cats
euthanized every year because they do not
have a home.
It will keep your pet healthier & reduce
unwanted behavior, such as urine spraying,
roaming, & cat fights.
Generally performed at 4 months of age,
spaying or neutering can also reduce the risk
of your pet developing certain caners & other
serious diseases.
