On 12/20/16 Dr. Shackelton at Middletown Animal Hospital was able to get this miniature Australian Shepherd in right away for a C-Section. It was her first litter and she had gone all night without progress. The surgery was a success and all 4 babies are beautiful and thriving. Delivering babies takes teamwork because each baby is dried off and suctioned by a technician. They immediately latched on and started nursing and went home that day.
