Fly Predators Zap Flies

When the warm weather begins in the spring pesky flies hatch and are a nuisance for people, horses, and dogs.  The best way to control flies is to eliminate them before they emerge and start to reproduce.  At Middletown Animal Hospital our veterinarians use and recommend Spalding Fly Predators.  If you cannot remove horse manure completely then sprinkle a small bag of Fly Predators on fresh manure just as the weather turns warm to prevent flies from every becoming a nuisance.  Then continue the same process every 3-4 weeks throughout the warm months (usually May-October in Lake County) and you will keep the fly population suppressed and enjoy the summer!

Fly Predators are a natural way to prevent flies by targeting the fly pupae stage which kills the immature flies before they can hatch and pester your animals and you.  By comparison, pesticide sprays are repellents and only chase flies away for a short while before they return.

Fly Predators are a great value because you typically don't have to spend money on fly sprays, traps, masks, sheets, etc.  The amount of Fly Predators per horse provides excellent control and often cost less than all the other things you used before.
